We have an escape artist who always seems to get her hands and/or arms out regardless of how tight you make it. That led us to trying this swaddle. She loves it and regardless if she wants her hands up or down, they don’t break out of the swaddle. The only negative is the discrepancy between the website stating the weight for this swaddle is 6.5-11lbs and the actual swaddle stating 7-14.5lbs. Which one is it?

We were super excited about these swaddles, and ultimately we do like them. They haven’t made much of a difference in our newborns (4 weeks old) sleep pattern though. They are our go-to swaddles and we’re keeping our fingers crossed something magical will happen.

I accidentally ordered these when my daughter was 5 weeks old. I decided to give them a try. She immediately started taking 3 hour naps in her crib when I put this on her. She loves being swaddled in this! I'm not sure what to do because she loves it so much she won't take a nap without it and she's 10 weeks now. It's getting too small :(

My baby hasn’t had the most likening experiences with swaddles since she prefers her hands to be up near her face and not down side her body like a straight jacket. Each different swaddle I have purchased hasn’t held her well enough the way she likes without her being able to escape making the swaddle not effective or worth wearing. The Nested Bean Zen I love and she does too. She sleeps so well In it and started to allow herself to sleep in her bassinet in general and less on me, and with far less fuss since she was born. I won’t go without this moving forward for as long as she will continue to be swaddled. I will take the 3-4 hour stretches of sleep, thanks to this swaddle!

My little one gets herself out of every swaddle we’ve tried. She likes moving her arms and the more restricted they are the more she fights it. This zip up allows her to still move her arms inside to where it feels comfortable but not up and out. The light weight across the chest also seems to keep her more calm through the night. 6 weeks and sleeping 7-8 hours stretches through the night!

My 1-week-old has such a strong startle reflex. No matter how we try to blanket swaddle him, his little arms find their way out and he wakes himself up. The only way we had been able to get him to sleep for more than brief spurts was to hold him in our arms (and that is not a sustainable long-term solution!)…
But, today we tried the Zen Neo for the first time today, and OMG- instant difference! I was able to lay him in his bassinet, and he slept for HOURS, without startling himself awake! I am so glad I tried this product only one week in, because it seems to be a total game changer!

This swaddle is very nice and practical however it bacame too thight after 12lbs. The product claims to be for a max 14lbs baby.
The weighted piece is nice but it slides up and covers baby's face and i did not feel comfortable using it overnight due to the risk of suffocation.
The stretchy material is nice as well.

The weighted swaddle changed our lives! I ordered them when my twins were around 5 weeks old, they were sleeping about 4 hours stretches at night. The first night I used this swaddle they went to 6 hours! Now they are 9 weeks old and we are on night 3 of 8 hours in a row! Be warned, don't use them during the day, they nap too well and won't sleep at night! It's a good problem to have!

I love how snug yet stretchy this material is. My 1 month old seems to be very comfortable at night. She went from sleeping only a couple of hours at a time to 5 hour stretches thanks to this swaddle! Although the sizing says 0-4 month, I don’t think that’s accurate. My daughter is petite and fits nicely in it now at 1 month, but I can’t see how she’ll still fit in it at 4 months. Just my opinion!

I really like this sleep sack! I am not sure is drastically improved our little one’s sleep, but he is a pretty good sleeper. I do love how easy it is to use and it is very good quality. I like that I can easily change his diaper at night without having to take his arms out. It does seem small and I can’t imagine it will fit him when he is four months. I do really like it and will definitely order the next size up sooner than later. I would also gift this item to a friend because it is pretty great!

Our little does well in this and it’s much easier than normal or Velcro swaddles! The only thing we don’t like is the weighted part slides up and goes close to his mouth. Use it every night and will be transitioning him to a normal sleep sack soon!

I like how it goes all the way to the neck like a shirt making it harder for hands to escape. I wish the weighted part was a little lower, it kind of rides up to his chin sometimes and bugs him and makes his pacifier fall out occasionally. My baby is 3 weeks old and nine pounds and it fits perfect. My babies tend to get chubby quick so I don’t know if I will be able to keep using it till he’s 4 months but we will see. The two way zipper is awesome so I can change his diaper without taking him all the way out. Over all I think its a purchase that is worth it.

I loved this so much! TBH the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there’s only one size available. My 2 month old is above average size-wise so unfortunately I won’t get to use it as long as I need ! So for me, it ends up being pricey and I wouldn’t mind as much if I could get more use out of it. They should make a bigger size for bigger babies who are still 0-4 months and use the swaddle!

I have purchased nested bean products with all my children. My first and second born sons was obsessed with their sleep sacks. I got this swaddle because I like how simple it is to use. My newborn twins are loving them! The only thing I don’t like is that they are very snug, so I don’t think I’ll be able to keep them in this swaddle for long. They are a month old and I don’t think they will fit in them in a few weeks.

When I first saw this product and removed it from the package I was skeptical. It looked so small, I thought there is no way this will fit my daughter. It said it fits from 7-14.5 pounds but it didn’t look like it. So I went ahead and gave it a try, it was amazing. It fit just right and room to grow. The fabric is stretchy and soft. My baby was not fighting it or trying to get her arms out. My daughter hates getting swaddled, I have purchased 3 different types and she would cry and fight, whether it’s the Muslin blankets or the sleepsacks that swaddle she hated them. She would cry and fight all night and even manage to get her arms out. The first night she slept her normal schedule, by the 3rd/4th night she is sleeping 2 hours more than normal and is very soothed the second she is wearing it. This is something that should be in your hospital bag. I truly wish I had this product from the day she was born. I can not stress how amazing it is.

I bought the nested bean swaddle for the ease of the two way zipper and the weighted flap. Those two things deliver. Unfortunately, my 7 week old is already too long for it and it doesn’t seem like it allows her hips to open the way they should. I’m going to get a bigger swaddle that is allows more room from the waist down, but I think this one is a good option for newborns.

The idea behind this swaddle is great but my kid definitely aged out of it before he hit the weight limit and the bean sack part of the swaddle comes up too high to the face with a bigger baby. Overall I think it needs to be split into two sizes with the second sized up a bit.

All of the products are amazing however this is a game changer! There's a double zipper which allows 2 great things to happen. First, the baby is ZIPPED in, no wiggling out of this one! No waking up in the middle of the night to find a contorted baby with 1 hand flailing in the wind. Second, the double zipper allows you to unzip the bottom half only for those middle of the night diaper changes. Now the baby still stays drowsy and you don't have to worry about him "throwing hands" when you have to zip back up. Basically it's like a super form fitting sleeping bag with weight. If you've ever done Ariel Yoga it's like the shavasana at the end of class. My almost 7 week old (bought when he was 4 weeks) immediately calms down and knows its time for bed once we put his swaddle on. I can not recommend these enough!

Our baby loves her Nested Bean Neo! Our 18 month old has been using a Nested Bean sleep sack since she transitioned out of a swaddle when she started rolling over. We loved it for her but weren’t sure if our new baby would be best in a traditional swaddle as a newborn or what option would be best for her. When we saw the NB neo come out we had to try it and it was instantly a better fit. Less fabric, no noisy Velcro and very simple design. Love how soft and stretchy it is and our baby girl sleeps very comfortably in it.

We love this swaddle! It is perfect! My son is constantly trying to break out of his swaddle and often has to be reswaddled in the middle of the night. The first night we used this product, he slept better. No fighting or grunting. I love the two way zipper for diaper changes and the minimal need for velcro. The only thing I'm hesitant about is that my son may grow out of this quickly. He's 2 months old and 11lbs and the swaddle is very snug on him. It is difficult to zip if he is moving around. I wish I would have had this product with my first son and earlier this time around. Highly recommend! Must have!

We tried many other swaddles and did not get the same results as we have from the Nested Bean swaddles. The baby would wiggle his little way out of them and not sleep long at all. We started with the Zen One Swaddle, and we loved it. We when received the Zen Neo swaddle, he started sleeping from 2 hours to 5-6 hours at a time. When we do our bedtime routine with the baby and put the Zen Neo on him, he gets quiet and calms down compared to before when he would be fussy and crying. I love that the Zen Neo swaddle has more of the weighted beans to it. We have now bought a couple of friends and family members the Nested Bean swaddles for their upcoming babies.

When I first received this swaddle I didn't have terribly high hopes since my baby has been diagnosed as colicky by our pediatrician. Swaddling helps, but only so much. Our baby tends to cry for roughly 8 hours every night. The first night we tried this swaddle our baby slept from 10pm to 8am (with getting up to nurse every couple of hours). It was amazing. The second night went the same way! Unfortunately we are ran into issues on the third but tonight, the 4th night, he is back asleep! I do wish the swaddle was a bit longer. I feel like our baby is going to get too long to fit very quickly. The weighted portion of the swaddle as well as the top of the swaddle tends to ride up more than I'd like, so it needs to get repositioned regularly. This is ok for now since our baby nurses every couple of hours anyways.

This product is AMAZING! It’s so easy to use, even daddy was getting her dressed for bed. The fit was perfect! It’s snug to keep her feeling comforted. The weighted overlay is the perfect touch to resemble the feeling of my hand on her, which is what she has previously required to fall asleep. By night 3 she was sleeping 11 hours where before our longest stretch was 6 hours!! We are Nested Bean fans and will forever use their products!

I am a fan of this new product. I lioe The fabric, hugging and form fitting but not uncomfortable for baby.. I like that This is almost a step up from the regular bean and provides an even more calming effect for babies who need a little more. My one critique is that the zipper fell in weird place on my baby’s chin. No matter how much I pulled down on the sack I couldnt get the zipper to stop rubbing my little ones face.

I love the concept of this product. However my baby was just way to long and it was too tight for her. I wish I would have had this when she was a newborn because she loved being swaddled then. When I first got this product I was a bit skeptical. Especially because it looks so tiny to fit my growing girl. But I was pleasantly surprised it came with 2! I tried the Zen One classic as she wasn’t a big fan of us swaddling her after we brought her home and her hands bring her comfort. However, with the Zen Neo, she instantly fell asleep on her own after zipping her up. I love the neutral color and the softness of it. It’s stretchy but breathable. I love Nested Bean products and I can’t wait to try out more!

My baby slept great with this on! He used to hate sleeping on flat surfaces on his back but with the nested neo I was able to put him down in his bassinet with no hassle. I wish I would’ve had this product when my baby was first born. We have been using the Zen One and love it but I think I even like the Neo even better! But my baby is too strong and has been breaking out of the Zen One and the Neo as well so that wakes him up. We are going to start the process of dropping the swaddle at this point. I do like that the arms zip off of the Zen One so he can still use it with arms out so it’s way more versatile.

I love the concept of this product and feel it would have been perfect for when my baby first came home from the hospital. She likes to be swaddled at naptime but not bedtime at night. I feel once the product was zipped it is a little too tight on her, she however doesn't seem bothered by it. The length she is getting close to the end but is ok currently. She seems content with the weighted Velcro that went across her. We love our nested bean Zen Sack but will continue to try out the Zen Neo at naptime until she outgrows it.

My little one gets herself out of every swaddle we’ve tried. She likes moving her arms and the more restricted they are the more she fights it. This zip up allows her to still move her arms inside to where it feels comfortable but not up and out. The light weight across the chest also seems to keep her more calm through the night. 6 weeks and sleeping 7-8 hours stretches through the night!

My 1-week-old has such a strong startle reflex. No matter how we try to blanket swaddle him, his little arms find their way out and he wakes himself up. The only way we had been able to get him to sleep for more than brief spurts was to hold him in our arms (and that is not a sustainable long-term solution!)…

This swaddle is very nice and practical however it bacame too thight after 12lbs. The product claims to be for a max 14lbs baby.
The weighted piece is nice but it slides up and covers baby's face and i did not feel comfortable using it overnight due to the risk of suffocation.
The stretchy material is nice as well.

The weighted swaddle changed our lives! I ordered them when my twins were around 5 weeks old, they were sleeping about 4 hours stretches at night. The first night I used this swaddle they went to 6 hours! Now they are 9 weeks old and we are on night 3 of 8 hours in a row! Be warned, don't use them during the day, they nap too well and won't sleep at night! It's a good problem to have!

I love how snug yet stretchy this material is. My 1 month old seems to be very comfortable at night. She went from sleeping only a couple of hours at a time to 5 hour stretches thanks to this swaddle! Although the sizing says 0-4 month, I don’t think that’s accurate. My daughter is petite and fits nicely in it now at 1 month, but I can’t see how she’ll still fit in it at 4 months. Just my opinion!

I really like this sleep sack! I am not sure is drastically improved our little one’s sleep, but he is a pretty good sleeper. I do love how easy it is to use and it is very good quality. I like that I can easily change his diaper at night without having to take his arms out. It does seem small and I can’t imagine it will fit him when he is four months. I do really like it and will definitely order the next size up sooner than later. I would also gift this item to a friend because it is pretty great!

Our little does well in this and it’s much easier than normal or Velcro swaddles! The only thing we don’t like is the weighted part slides up and goes close to his mouth. Use it every night and will be transitioning him to a normal sleep sack soon!

I like how it goes all the way to the neck like a shirt making it harder for hands to escape. I wish the weighted part was a little lower, it kind of rides up to his chin sometimes and bugs him and makes his pacifier fall out occasionally. My baby is 3 weeks old and nine pounds and it fits perfect. My babies tend to get chubby quick so I don’t know if I will be able to keep using it till he’s 4 months but we will see. The two way zipper is awesome so I can change his diaper without taking him all the way out. Over all I think its a purchase that is worth it.

I loved this so much! TBH the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there’s only one size available. My 2 month old is above average size-wise so unfortunately I won’t get to use it as long as I need ! So for me, it ends up being pricey and I wouldn’t mind as much if I could get more use out of it. They should make a bigger size for bigger babies who are still 0-4 months and use the swaddle!

I have purchased nested bean products with all my children. My first and second born sons was obsessed with their sleep sacks. I got this swaddle because I like how simple it is to use. My newborn twins are loving them! The only thing I don’t like is that they are very snug, so I don’t think I’ll be able to keep them in this swaddle for long. They are a month old and I don’t think they will fit in them in a few weeks.

When I first saw this product and removed it from the package I was skeptical. It looked so small, I thought there is no way this will fit my daughter. It said it fits from 7-14.5 pounds but it didn’t look like it. So I went ahead and gave it a try, it was amazing. It fit just right and room to grow. The fabric is stretchy and soft. My baby was not fighting it or trying to get her arms out. My daughter hates getting swaddled, I have purchased 3 different types and she would cry and fight, whether it’s the Muslin blankets or the sleepsacks that swaddle she hated them. She would cry and fight all night and even manage to get her arms out. The first night she slept her normal schedule, by the 3rd/4th night she is sleeping 2 hours more than normal and is very soothed the second she is wearing it. This is something that should be in your hospital bag. I truly wish I had this product from the day she was born. I can not stress how amazing it is.

I bought the nested bean swaddle for the ease of the two way zipper and the weighted flap. Those two things deliver. Unfortunately, my 7 week old is already too long for it and it doesn’t seem like it allows her hips to open the way they should. I’m going to get a bigger swaddle that is allows more room from the waist down, but I think this one is a good option for newborns.

The idea behind this swaddle is great but my kid definitely aged out of it before he hit the weight limit and the bean sack part of the swaddle comes up too high to the face with a bigger baby. Overall I think it needs to be split into two sizes with the second sized up a bit.

All of the products are amazing however this is a game changer! There's a double zipper which allows 2 great things to happen. First, the baby is ZIPPED in, no wiggling out of this one! No waking up in the middle of the night to find a contorted baby with 1 hand flailing in the wind. Second, the double zipper allows you to unzip the bottom half only for those middle of the night diaper changes. Now the baby still stays drowsy and you don't have to worry about him "throwing hands" when you have to zip back up. Basically it's like a super form fitting sleeping bag with weight. If you've ever done Ariel Yoga it's like the shavasana at the end of class. My almost 7 week old (bought when he was 4 weeks) immediately calms down and knows its time for bed once we put his swaddle on. I can not recommend these enough!

Our baby loves her Nested Bean Neo! Our 18 month old has been using a Nested Bean sleep sack since she transitioned out of a swaddle when she started rolling over. We loved it for her but weren’t sure if our new baby would be best in a traditional swaddle as a newborn or what option would be best for her. When we saw the NB neo come out we had to try it and it was instantly a better fit. Less fabric, no noisy Velcro and very simple design. Love how soft and stretchy it is and our baby girl sleeps very comfortably in it.

We love this swaddle! It is perfect! My son is constantly trying to break out of his swaddle and often has to be reswaddled in the middle of the night. The first night we used this product, he slept better. No fighting or grunting. I love the two way zipper for diaper changes and the minimal need for velcro. The only thing I'm hesitant about is that my son may grow out of this quickly. He's 2 months old and 11lbs and the swaddle is very snug on him. It is difficult to zip if he is moving around. I wish I would have had this product with my first son and earlier this time around. Highly recommend! Must have!

We tried many other swaddles and did not get the same results as we have from the Nested Bean swaddles. The baby would wiggle his little way out of them and not sleep long at all. We started with the Zen One Swaddle, and we loved it. We when received the Zen Neo swaddle, he started sleeping from 2 hours to 5-6 hours at a time. When we do our bedtime routine with the baby and put the Zen Neo on him, he gets quiet and calms down compared to before when he would be fussy and crying. I love that the Zen Neo swaddle has more of the weighted beans to it. We have now bought a couple of friends and family members the Nested Bean swaddles for their upcoming babies.

When I first received this swaddle I didn't have terribly high hopes since my baby has been diagnosed as colicky by our pediatrician. Swaddling helps, but only so much. Our baby tends to cry for roughly 8 hours every night. The first night we tried this swaddle our baby slept from 10pm to 8am (with getting up to nurse every couple of hours). It was amazing. The second night went the same way! Unfortunately we are ran into issues on the third but tonight, the 4th night, he is back asleep! I do wish the swaddle was a bit longer. I feel like our baby is going to get too long to fit very quickly. The weighted portion of the swaddle as well as the top of the swaddle tends to ride up more than I'd like, so it needs to get repositioned regularly. This is ok for now since our baby nurses every couple of hours anyways.

This product is AMAZING! It’s so easy to use, even daddy was getting her dressed for bed. The fit was perfect! It’s snug to keep her feeling comforted. The weighted overlay is the perfect touch to resemble the feeling of my hand on her, which is what she has previously required to fall asleep. I am a fan of this new product. I lioe The fabric, hugging and form fitting but not uncomfortable for baby.. I like that This is almost a step up from the regular bean and provides an even more calming effect for babies who need a little more. My one critique is that the zipper fell in weird place on my baby’s chin. No matter how much I pulled down on the sack I couldnt get the zipper to stop rubbing my little ones face.

I love the concept of this product. However my baby was just way to long and it was too tight for her. I wish I would have had this when she was a newborn because she loved being swaddled then. When I first got this product I was a bit skeptical. Especially because it looks so tiny to fit my growing girl. But I was pleasantly surprised it came with 2! I tried the Zen One classic as she wasn’t a big fan of us swaddling her after we brought her home and her hands bring her comfort. However, with the Zen Neo, she instantly fell asleep on her own after zipping her up. I love the neutral color and the softness of it. It’s stretchy but breathable. I wish I would’ve had this product when my baby was first born. We have been using the Zen One and love it but I think I even like the Neo even better! But my baby is too strong and has been breaking out of the Zen One and the Neo as well so that wakes him up. We are going to start the process of dropping the swaddle at this point. I do like that the arms zip off of the Zen One so he can still use it with arms out so it’s way more versatile.

I love the concept of this product and feel it would have been perfect for when my baby first came home from the hospital. She likes to be swaddled at naptime but not bedtime at night. I feel once the product was zipped it is a little too tight on her, she however doesn't seem bothered by it. The length she is getting close to the end but is ok currently. She seems content with the weighted Velcro that went across her. We love our nested bean Zen Sack but will continue to try out the Zen Neo at naptime until she outgrows it.

This product was amazing! My baby loved this swaddle and she slept so good and was able to take naps in her bassinet. Something she hasn’t been able to do! I loved how snug it swaddled her.
