I thought “weighted” meant the entire thing is weighted but no. There’s a little pound in the front and that just has a little weight in it. My babies hated this and won’t up more often during the night. That’s a parents worst nightmare

The only negative I have to say is my baby is long and the 0-3 month is already too small. Don’t worry, I’ve bought 3 more 3-6 month and will continue to purchase more! Super soft material—comfortable for our newborn. Our son definitely likes the zen one sleep sack better than a swaddle. He was constantly breaking out of the swaddle or grunting & fighting it throughout the night. The weighted bean has also helped when putting him in the bassinet & no longer having to keep my hand on his chest. He is definitely sleeping better since we switched. Only reason for four stars is the length of sack if you’re baby is tall they will likely outgrow this quickly. Our son is two months I bought the 3-6 month size as he is big for his age but he is already filling out the entire sleep sack.

I’m going to be honest, it’s an amazing product and it actually works. But the price point is super high. There are desperate newborn parents that crave sleep so bad they’re willing to pay the increased price for a good nights sleep for themselves and their baby, but that doesn’t mean a swaddle needs to be near $60. It almost seems unfair. Please consider lowering the price in some direction as it will allow more parents to recommend this product to other parents rather than a cheaper alternative.

We’ve tried a few sleep sack options. This is the ONLY one that truly works for our family. We’ve used it for both of our babies now! Our son wouldn’t sleep at all on his own, it was such a struggle. We’re two weeks into using this for him and he sleeps in his bassinet and falls asleep on his own. Miracle worker! Also, I never leave reviews and in no way encouraged to leave this review (I never trust reviews anymore ha)!

Works great on our 10 week old. Have been using it since 4 weeks. He can go 7-8 hour stretches bc of this. Only issue is that the swaddle sleepsack goes based off of weight and doesn’t take length into consideration. Our baby is long and this swaddle seems to be getting too short without room to stretch his legs.

My 4 month old daughter loves to be swaddled and she has outgrown her little swaddles so we needed to find something new that would fit her. We were also using swaddle blankets but she started busting her hands out and they would come undone during the night. We were recommended to try the nested bean swaddle sack and I’m so thankful we did! My daughter loves to wear it both ways. She loves falling asleep with her arms out and free to move but when she falls asleep I put them in the swaddle and zip it up. This helps her to not startle and wake herself up in the middle of the night by flailing her arms around. The weighted egg on the chest is the cherry on top!! My daughter has been sleeping so much better since we started using this a couple weeks ago. Also purchased the zen One for when she outgrows the sack. Definitely recommend this for your babies whether they love to be swaddled or not!

I have used these for 2/3 kids now and honestly we love them. They are so amazing and truly the best swaddle to keep my babies calm throughout the night. Now…my complaint? I have had the 1st and 2nd version of this and I did enjoy the original more. The Velcro part on the inside was so much more stretchy while the Velcro part on the new edition is cotton so it doesn’t have much give and my daughter breaks it open super easy. My BIGGEST gripe with this product is longevity. My daughter has been wearing the 3-6m size since she is 2 months she will be 4 months this weekend and her feet touch the bottom which bothers her when she sleeps. All around, the sizing isn’t great. She probably has 1-2 weeks until it no longer fits and she isn’t ready to go without a swaddle yet so we will have to find a new option. I wish they would make the swaddle in a 6-9m size for those babies that are bigger or aren’t quite rolling by the time they outgrow the 3-6. I would also really appreciate the swaddle being longer for those babies with long bodies.

Love this. My daughter was fighting the swaddle so hard but still has the startle reflex so leaving arms out was causing frequent wake ups… this was the perfect solution! My only complaint is the neckline is a little high so when it’s zipped all the way and she moves her arms it bunches up around her neck and face… might be that she’s just a little small, but for now I just leave the zipper unzipped slightly and tuck it at the top. Still works great

Quality sleep sack. I love the design however it just isn’t what works for my guy. He is just 4 months and weighs 16 lbs, 24” long. It seems snug on him and doesn’t appear to have much length to grow. I have yet to wash it so it’s not that. Also he gets warm in it. Thinking the wrap inside contributes to this. I plan to return the other unopened box but I don’t regret trying.

We loved the nested bean sleep sack for our older son. We tried the zen one with our 4 month old as he transitioned out of the full swaddle. He liked it, but actually does better in the sleep sack. There’s something a bit off with the cut of the sleeves that it can bunch up around his face when the sleeves are in and by his ears when they are zipped off. I’d also love to see some fabric that covers the zipper when the sleeves are removed so it’s softer against his skin.

I ordered the 0-3 month for my 1mo baby and wish I would have sized up. The sizing details on the site states that it fits up to 13lbs but it was very snug and uncomfortable on my 9lb baby. Otherwise, it’s great quality. I wish it would have fit better so that we could have used it.

I was super excited to try this bc my LO only likes being swaddled with her hands up and needs my touch to fall fully asleep. Unfortunately she doesn’t care for this sleep sack at all and it even made her sleep worse! Crossing my fingers that it was a wild coincidence and she just happened to start the 3 month sleep regression the night we started using it. She was consistently sleeping a 5-6 hours stretch but now only sleeps 3. Going to give it another week before calling it quits because these were not cheap!

I saw the Nested Bean ad on social media and thought what a great idea, but does it really work? I went onto Amazon to shop around and saw all sorts with prices to match.

The Nested Bean sleeper was not my favorite of all the different sleep sacks. In fact, it’s probably my least favorite of the ones we have tried. The mesh parts on the arms were not wide enough, so my baby ended up just soaking around the mesh. It also seemed a little snug for my 3 month old even though she fit the weight.

I’ve been looking for a swaddle since my baby busted out of his smaller, more traditional arms down swaddles. I’ve tried the other brands of arms up swaddles and he didn’t seem to like it, so I went for this.
I’m honestly not sure if he’d get better sleep with it, but when he wiggles his arms around the fabric around his neck starts to come up over his face. It got as far as over his mouth, which I am obviously uncomfortable with.
I took one wing off and that seems to keep it from riding up, but now I’ve lost the full swaddle effect. I would rather just have bought a regular sleep sack because they are less expensive.
I have NOT tried this with his arms down in the Velcro, so I can’t speak to that.

We are huge fans of the nested bean sleep sack and used it for our toddler when she stopped swaddling. Because of that we decided to try the new nested bean swaddle and unfortunately, disappointed. The inside Velcro strap is way too tight/small and you can barely strap your babe in. Because of this she was always able to wiggle her arms out. Also, the way it zips up somewhat slanted makes it wear weird on our baby. Overall bummed and I really wanted to like it.

I LOOOVE this sleep sack! My mom suggested it for me for my first baby at around 3 months and she immediately started sleeping better. She loved to sleep with her arms up but would startle herself awake with them. I love this sleep sack because of the little arm pouches. She was able to still sleep with her arms up but have them controlled and she slept amazing. My second baby I got to start with the sleep sack right away and she does NOT sleep during the day hardly at all or won’t even take naps in her crib. Baby girl is 3 months and seems to really like the weighted part and loves her arms up! Gave this product a 3 because is seems small for 3-6 months and my baby was a premie and is still in newborn size mostly just 8lbs but the swaddle fits small and I don't see her being able to fit in it until 6 months. Also after a few washes the navy blue material has faded already and I followed all washing instructions. I have had a maybe a month and it already looks very faded.

I love the quality of the onesie, but it was just a bit too snugged on the stomach for my infant. So she was only able to wear it one time. The tightness was uncomfortable and her weight was within the weight class on the instructions. She is only one month old. This is my 3rd item I’ve purchased from Nested Bean and my 2nd of these. I bought the purple first then the sand color. If your baby has Startle reflex or difficulty sleeping on their own in a bassinet, try this!! Every time I would lay my daughter down to sleep in her bassinet for the first almost 2 months of life she would wake up within five minutes. Then she developed a startle reflex in her sleep, but this cured it.

I’m sure the product would’ve been great if it would’ve fit my baby. When I asked to exchange for a bigger size, they didn’t make it easy as I needed to fill out a form and print it (who has a printer at home now?) and then bring everything to a designated shipping store. Again, all fine to do if I didn’t have a newborn at home and had a printer!
On the plus side, I was able to gift it to my friend so no money wasted and her baby loves it!

I had really high hopes for this swaddle/sleep sack but I was severely disappointed with it. The material and construction are high quality and the design and idea of the suit are great. But the sizing is way off. My 12lb, 23”, 2 1/2 month old was too big for the 3-6 month size despite him being well within the parameters for the measurements listed on the description. The suite barely zips with his arms swaddled by his sides but if I put them up in the wings his forearms are too long for the sleeves and his hands end up bent backwards at his wrists. The suit itself is already too short with his feet pressed against the end. There’s no way this suit would fit up to a 6 month old let along a standard sized 3 month old. Unfortunately this company doesn’t do full refunds on any product that was used even once so buyer beware. There really should be better measurements with the sizes so you know if your babe will fit before you buy. I wish there was a larger size.

We love it so far, the only thing that didn't work out was that the selves were too tight so it doesn't help with the startle reflex ( maybe my baby has a little bit longer arms than average 3 mo old ) so we just use it with the sleeves off and it's really nice otherwise.

I’m going to be honest, it’s an amazing product and it actually works. But the price point is super high. There are desperate newborn parents that crave sleep so bad they’re willing to pay the increased price for a good nights sleep for themselves and their baby, but that doesn’t mean a swaddle needs to be near $60. My 4 month old daughter loves to be swaddled and she has outgrown her little swaddles so we needed to find something new that would fit her. We were also using swaddle blankets but she started busting her hands out and they would come undone during the night. I have used these for 2/3 kids now and honestly we love them. They are so amazing and truly the best swaddle to keep my babies calm throughout the night. Now…my complaint? I have had the 1st and 2nd version of this and I did enjoy the original more. The Velcro part on the inside was so much more stretchy while the Velcro part on the new edition is cotton so it doesn’t have much give and my daughter breaks it open super easy. My BIGGEST gripe with this product is longevity. My daughter has been wearing the 3-6m size since she is 2 months she will be 4 months this weekend and her feet touch the bottom which bothers her when she sleeps. All around, the sizing isn’t great. She probably has 1-2 weeks until it no longer fits and she isn’t ready to go without a swaddle yet so we will have to find a new option. I wish they would make the swaddle in a 6-9m size for those babies that are bigger or aren’t quite rolling by the time they outgrow the 3-6. I would also really appreciate the swaddle being longer for those babies with long bodies.

Love this. My daughter was fighting the swaddle so hard but still has the startle reflex so leaving arms out was causing frequent wake ups… this was the perfect solution! My only complaint is the neckline is a little high so when it’s zipped all the way and she moves her arms it bunches up around her neck and face… might be that she’s just a little small, but for now I just leave the zipper unzipped slightly and tuck it at the top. We loved the nested bean sleep sack for our older son. We tried the zen one with our 4 month old as he transitioned out of the full swaddle. He liked it, but actually does better in the sleep sack. There’s something a bit off with the cut of the sleeves that it can bunch up around his face when the sleeves are in and by his ears when they are zipped off. I’d also love to see some fabric that covers the zipper when the sleeves are removed so it’s softer against his skin.

I was super excited to try this bc my LO only likes being swaddled with her hands up and needs my touch to fall fully asleep. The Nested Bean sleeper was not my favorite of all the different sleep sacks. In fact, it’s probably my least favorite of the ones we have tried. The mesh parts on the arms were not wide enough, so my baby ended up just soaking around the mesh. It also seemed a little snug for my 3 month old even though she fit the weight.

I’ve been looking for a swaddle since my baby busted out of his smaller, more traditional arms down swaddles. I’ve tried the other brands of arms up swaddles and he didn’t seem to like it, so I went for this.
I’m honestly not sure if he’d get better sleep with it, but when he wiggles his arms around the fabric around his neck starts to come up over his face. It got as far as over his mouth, which I am obviously uncomfortable with.
I took one wing off and that seems to keep it from riding up, but now I’ve lost the full swaddle effect. I would rather just have bought a regular sleep sack because they are less expensive.
I have NOT tried this with his arms down in the Velcro, so I can’t speak to that.

We are huge fans of the nested bean sleep sack and used it for our toddler when she stopped swaddling. Because of that we decided to try the new nested bean swaddle and unfortunately, disappointed. The inside Velcro strap is way too tight/small and you can barely strap your babe in. Because of this she was always able to wiggle her arms out. Also, the way it zips up somewhat slanted makes it wear weird on our baby. Overall bummed and I really wanted to like it.

If your baby has Startle reflex or difficulty sleeping on their own in a bassinet, try this!! When I asked to exchange for a bigger size, they didn’t make it easy as I needed to fill out a form and print it (who has a printer at home now?) and then bring everything to a designated shipping store. I had really high hopes for this swaddle/sleep sack but I was severely disappointed with it. The material and construction are high quality and the design and idea of the suit are great. But the sizing is way off. My 12lb, 23”, 2 1/2 month old was too big for the 3-6 month size despite him being well within the parameters for the measurements listed on the description. The suite barely zips with his arms swaddled by his sides but if I put them up in the wings his forearms are too long for the sleeves and his hands end up bent backwards at his wrists. The suit itself is already too short with his feet pressed against the end. There’s no way this suit would fit up to a 6 month old let along a standard sized 3 month old. Unfortunately this company doesn’t do full refunds on any product that was used even once so buyer beware. There really should be better measurements with the sizes so you know if your babe will fit before you buy. I wish there was a larger size.
